In researching the most healthy way to detox the body, I have created a puree that can be drank straight or used as a dressing over your salad or meats! It is super easy and the health benefits are endless!
Ingredients: (makes 2-3 Servings)
1 Medium Red Beet (I make a few beets in each batch)
1 tsp. Coconut Oil
1 Garlic Clove (work up to 2 cloves, the little pieces of the garlic)
1 tsp. chopped Ginger
1/2 Apple (skin included)
6 ounces pure Carrot Juice
4 ounces of water
1/4 lemon, peel included
2 Tbsps. Apple Cider Vinegar
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Prepare the Beets:
1. Clean the beets and cut the stem off.
2. Cut into square pieces so it cooks faster.
3. Preheat your oven to 425.
4. Toss the cut squares in some Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Sea Salt.
5. Bake for 30 minutes or until they are browned like little potatoes.
6. Sprinkle with Sea Salt.
These are now ready to be eaten with any of your meals.
Using the blender, add all of the ingredients and blend into a puree!
Detox your liver, blood, intestines, stomach, the list goes on and on!
